The Parenting Center is a safe and warm environment where moms and dads can come to learn, discuss and explore issues surrounding their journey in parenting.
The theoretical basis for The Parenting Center is attachment parenting. Babies, toddlers and children of all ages
are always welcome to join their parents at The Parenting Center.
Mother’s Meetings with Baby
A group of women and their babies will get together twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, to share their experiences and to discuss in depth the following issues:
- Needs as baby grows
- Changes and adjustments in marriage & family
- Sibling issues
- Nighttime parenting as baby grows
- How long should I nurse my baby?
- Starting solids/nutrition for the growing baby
- Still feeling “postpartum?”

- Body image and the joy of motherhood
- Nurturing your relationship with your partner
- Local resources for babies and toddlers
- Continued attachment and separation
- Returning to work
- Changing roles and relationships
- Decisions about having another baby

The focus of the group will be on attachment parenting.
The cost of the group is $100 for every 5 sessions attended.
