Breastfeeding Consultations

Seventh Moon ~ Perinatal Support Services™ offers prenatal and postpartum breastfeeding consultations on an individual and couple basis. Visits may be made in our offices or at your home. Susan Esserman has been an accredited Breastfeeding Counseling Specialist since 1994, and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2001. Seventh Moon offers Breastfeeding Classes prenatally in order to prepare for breastfeeding in the early weeks of life with a newborn.

Breastfeeding Class

A two and one half hour class devoted to breastfeeding basics and how to get off to a good start with breastfeeding. Topics covered will include the benefits of breastfeeding, positioning, avoiding and overcoming common problems, preparing to breastfeed and normal newborn breastfeeding patterns.

This class is for pregnant women with or without their partners.

The fee for this class is $40.
